Uh oh! Orlando Bloom landed in India on Dec. 19, but was turned away by the country that morning.

The actor, who landed in Delhi to promote tourism, was deported after it was discovered that he didn't have a valid visa. He reportedly applied for an e-visa in November, but wasn't aware that it had been rejected, according to the Economic Times of India. Unfortunately for Orlando, he was given the bad news after arriving in India at 1:30 a.m. that morning.

The ordeal resulted in Orlando being deported back to the UK at 4:00 a.m., but officials in India got involved. The External Affairs Minister of the country, Sushma Swaraj, assisted and Orlando was granted a legal visa the following day.

The travel setback didn't stop Orlando. Once the legal visa was secured, he returned to India Dec. 20 and was admitted without incident.
