Paris Jackson has officially told her long dark hair to beat it!
Michael Jackson's daughter headed to the beach on Feb. 24 to relax and catch some rays with her friend Baylee Wallace. But it was Paris' hair that has us doing a double take.
While wearing a baseball hat covering the top of her head, Paris showed off her new platinum, nearly orange hairstyle in a selfie. In her beach selfie, she donned what appeared to be a pink, black and turquoise leopard-pattern bikini and sunglasses.
The new look seems to have happened a few days ago. Earlier in the week, Paris honed her inner-David Bowie, posting an image to her Instagram in David's famous Ziggy Stardust makeup, while also rocked a Bowie shirt. The walls surrounding her are covered in Bowie, as well. Her hair in the image looks short and bleached, and she made reference to it in her caption.
"You gotta embrace the awkward phase from jet black to blonde where it's pretty much orange... ch ch ch ch changes," she wrote.
On Feb. 23 she also showed off her new 'do, but in a black and white snap. In that image, Paris smiles with her eyes closed while in a car.
"Schmiles all around," she wrote.
The new hairstyle comes just a few weeks after she revealed that she attends Alcoholic Anonymous meetings.
"This is f------ ridiculous," she wrote on Instagram after several of her 133,000 followers blasted her for little to no reason. "I am expected to literally sit on my a-- all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative?) I have AA meetings. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations."
Paris, 17, and her family have touched on her substance abuse issues in the past, but none of them have really ever spoken of her need to go to AA.
Her rant continued as she spoke of being attacked for everything she posts, mainly because of her famous father.
"I don't know any of you," she said. "I appreciate the love and support, but these expectations are f------ ridiculous. The expectations for my dad were f------ ridiculous. He didn't owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me."
