Former Disney star Orlando Brown was arrested in January 2016 for an alleged domestic battery incident, TMZ reports.
The actor, who played Eddie Thomas, Raven-Symone's best friend in "That's So Raven," reportedly struck his girlfriend while in the parking lot of a Torrance, Calif. police station.
The 28-year-old was arguing with the girl when a witness using a nearby ATM spotted them and contacted police, who were clearly nearby at the station.
When officers arrived, the Disney alum refused to exit his vehicle, according to TMZ. After some time, Orlando was arrested, and after being put in jail, police allegedly found meth on his person. His girlfriend apparently did not suffer serious injuries.
TMZ says the actor has been charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, obstruction of justice and two felonies for drug possession with the intent to sell and having contraband while in prison.
Orlando, who was also known for voicing a character in the animated series "The Proud Family," has had a number of run-ins with the law over the years.
In August 2014, an audiotape revealed the actor threatening to murder a woman, her daughter and her mom in North Hollywood, Calif. In that case, he was charged with two counts of disturbing the peace and public intoxication, but later struck plea deal and just had to pay a fine.
Orlando was also arrested in 2013 for driving under the influence as well as in 2011. In 2012, he was arrested twice for not completing his court-ordered alcohol eduction classes (stemming from the 2011 DUI arrest) and failing to appear in court. He was taken into custody in 2007 as well for possession of marijuana...
In addition to "That's So Raven" and "The Proud Family," the actor played roles in "Family Matters," "Major Payne" and "The Jamie Foxx Show." In 2015, he also debuted his solo musical talents after previously releasing songs with Akon, Sean Kingston, T-Pain, Raven Symone, Rayven Justice and more.
