Kate Middleton turned heads in a Phillipa Lepley silk crepe gown, which she paired with a blue sash to represent her role as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. She also donned Princess Diana's Lover's Knot Tiara — a favorite of the late royal.

Before Princess Diana donned the stunning accessory, it belonged to another royal: Queen Mary. It was created for her in 1914 from pearls and diamonds that belonged to her family. When she died, Queen Elizabeth II inherited the diadem. She wore it several times before giving it to Diana as a wedding gift in 1981. It went back to Elizabeth when Diana and King Charles III divorced.

Fans took to social media to celebrate Kate Middleton's appearance at the state banquet following her cancer battle. "She looks healthy, praise God," one person wrote. "She's always on point, never disappoints. Well put together always," another said.

Donald Trump was also excited to see a cancer-free Kate Middleton. "[My wife Melania Trump] and I are delighted to visit with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness, Princess Catherine. So radiant, so healthy and so beautiful," he said in his speech, adding, "It's really a great honor. Thank you."
