The humanitarian situation in Gaza has become dire. Now five months into the conflict in Palestinian, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza face "imminent" famine, Gaza's Ministry of Health told NPR, and more than two dozen children have died of malnourishment. Humanitarian aid drops are one of the only ways citizens in Gaza are receiving food. On March 20, in a photo taken from Israel's southern border, humanitarian aid packages are seen being airdropped into the Gaza Strip.
