According to
Tom Bower's
book House of Beckham, Meghan Markle allegedly barred
Prince Harry from interacting with
David Beckham and
Victoria Beckham, who attended the royal couple's wedding, at the Invictus Games in 2018. "Photographs of the two together were forbidden. David was said to be puzzled as to why Harry wouldn't meet him. The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan," the journalist claimed. "She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham and especially not from his wife Victoria."

While
David Beckham and
Victoria Beckham may not be fond of
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle anymore, the soccer legend maintains a tight bond with
Prince William. "Whenever the Prince of Wales sends me a message and says, 'I need you to do this' or 'be there,' it's always a 'yes,'" David
said when attending the 2022 Earthshot Prize in Boston, Mass., on behalf of the future king of England. "Over the years, I've done a lot with the Prince of Wales, and I've always been there whenever he's asked me to get involved with things."

In another sign of support,
David Beckham was on hand when
Prince William attended the conclusion of the London Air Ambulance Charity's "Up Against Time" appeal to celebrate the two new helicopters. "As soon as I was asked to be involved by
Prince William, it was something I was very honored to do in all honesty," David, who is an ambassador of the London Air Ambulance Charity,
said.

David Beckham is a staunch royalist and big fan of
King Charles III. "I always get emotional talking about anything that I do with our royal family. I was brought up in a household that adored and loved everything that came with the royal family," the father of four
said when asked to represent His Majesty's foundation. "My grandparents would have been proud that I have played such an important role in the royal family and the charities that they have. Our king is an incredible man."

Victoria Beckham is also proud to be friends with the royals. In 2017, she received an OBE [Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire] award from
Prince William for her services to the fashion industry. "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I'm proud to be British, honored and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge," the former Spice Girl said in a
statement.
