Kirk Cameron said "I do" when he asked if he wanted to attend the nuptials and rehearsal dinner for Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald's wedding.

The "Growing Pains" actor was one of 1,000 guests at the wedding. It's unknown how he knows the Duggar family, but the born-again fundamentalist Christian jumped at the opportunity to go Bentonville, Ark., for the big day.

"We flew to the Duggar hometown, not only to be part of the fun and excitement of honoring this precious couple, but as a father, I want my daughters to see what it looks like when a couple reserves their 'first kiss' for at the altar," the father of six wrote on his Facebook page. "Wow! This kind of moral excellence and purity is rare today, but our sons and daughters are priceless. This dad has only a few years to etch these meaningful images on the minds of his children."

Of course, it was later revealed that the couple didn't actually share their first kiss at their wedding.

Kirk said he was even invited to the Duggar house for volleyball, campfire singing and dessert, and they all went to church together the following day.
