Megyn Kelly has tapped Donald Trump's former White House communications director Hope Hicks to serve as the Chief Operating Officer at her independent media company, Devil May Care Media.

"Hope Hicks is exactly the kind of woman I want running my company with me — strong, smart, strategic and the embodiment of class and poise," Kelly told the New York Post.

"She's at the top of a growing media conglomerate and there's no limit to where she can take it; my best-in-the-business staff and I are thrilled to have her on board," she added.

After Kelly left her television career, she found success with her podcast "The Megyn Kelly Show," but the commentator is now expanding her business to include a roster of talent. While Kelly hosts "The Megyn Kelly Show" and "AM Update with Megyn Kelly," her media empire will continue to grow.

Before Kelly hired her, Hicks had been running her own media consulting firm after leaving the first Trump administration. She served as the press secretary for the president's 2016 presidential campaign and was a communications director for Trump from 2017 to 2018.

"I am incredibly humbled and thrilled to be joining Megyn and her team in continuing to build what is undoubtedly a flourishing business," she said.

The Smithsonian National Museum made changes to its impeachment exhibit.

The Washington, D.C., establishment removed a "temporary label" featuring Donald Trump's name in their section dedicated to presidential condemnation that's been in place since September 2021.

The exhibit now runs up to 2008 and includes a note reading, "Only three presidents have seriously faced removal." Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Trump have all been formally impeached during their time in office.

The update comes months after the Republican leader's White House ordered the museum to remove anything related to "anti-American ideology" from the facility.

Despite Trump's demands, the museum is claiming the change is only due to other updates being made to the exhibit. "In reviewing our legacy content recently, it became clear that the 'Limits of Presidential Power' section in The American Presidency: A Glorious Burden exhibition needed to be addressed," they said in a statement.

"The section of this exhibition covers Congress, The Supreme Court, Impeachment and Public Opinion. Because the other topics in this section had not been updated since 2008, the decision was made to restore the Impeachment case back to its 2008 appearance," the establishment noted.

The Smithsonian confirmed that once the alterations are done, "a future and updated exhibit will include all impeachments."

Trump was impeached twice during his first term: first in December 2019 on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, then in 2021 following the January 6 U.S. Capitol attack when he was accused of inciting an insurrection. The Senate acquitted him in both trials.

Sydney Sweeney just can't avoid controversy. The Euphoria star is facing backlash over her political affiliation after she was accused of promoting white supremacy in a recent American Eagle ad campaign.

American Eagle used wordplay to celebrate the Emmy nominee's "great jeans" and "great genes," but critics were quick to point out that highlighting a thin white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes as the physical ideal is a dog whistle for eugenics.

There has been curiosity surrounding Sweeney's political beliefs since her family wore "Make America Great Again"-inspired hats reading "Make Sixty Great Again" during her mother's 60th birthday party in 2022. After fans accused her of supporting Donald Trump, Sweeney took to X to stress that her mom's birthday party was "an innocent celebration" that "turned into an absurd political statement, which was not the intention."

However, critics might've been right about their initial analysis, as The Guardian reported on Aug. 3 that the actress registered as a Republican in the state of Florida months before the 2024 presidential election. While Voter Information Lookup can't specify how someone ultimately voted, her association with the Republican Party was enough for some fans to turn on her.

While people on the left rushed to mock Sweeney, Trump and the Republicans quickly came to the blonde's defense.

"Does nobody else think that Sydney Sweeney's address being doxxed on her voter registration for being a Republican feels like voter intimidation? Can't even be proud of your jeans in 2025," one user pointed out.

Trump, meanwhile, wrote on Truth Social, "Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there. Go get 'em Sydney."

Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones are back for the second season of Wednesday, which sees Wednesday Adams returning to Nevermore Academy, where she dives deeper into her family's legacy while dealing with the trials and tribulations of being a teenager.

The popular 2006 romantic comedy The Holiday is getting a reboot, according to TheWrap. AppleTV+ is reportedly developing a television adaptation of the 2006 Nancy Meyers' flick.

After word got out, Meyers admitted she was unaware of the project. "News to me. Imagine my surprise when I opened Instagram and this was the first post I saw," Meyers told followers on Instagram. While Meyers won't be affiliated with the show, Sweetpea writer Krissie Ducker has been tapped to adapt the film into a limited series, while Catastrophe's Rob Delaney has joined as a consultant.

While the show isn't an exact copy of The Holiday, it will follow the plot of a single American woman and a Brit swapping homes for the holiday season. They both end up finding love, romance and more during their international stays. The Holiday — which starred Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black — found commercial success when it was released.

Delaney and Ducker have a collaborative history, as the latter was a writer's assistant on Ducker's Catastrophe.

Based on Stephen King's terrifying short story, Theo James portrays both twin brothers who encounter a haunted toy in The Monkey. The dark comedy horror movie sees the boys dealing with the curse of death placed on those around them after they come into contact with the faux animal.

The docuseries Ted Bundy: Dialogue with the Devil, lays out how the infamous killer helped investigator Robert Keppel catch The Green River killer, who took the lives of women in Seattle, Wash. The program follows right up until Ted Bundy was executed in 1989.

The captivating docuseries Capturing Their Killer: The Girls on the High Bridge, follows the 2017 disappearance of two young girls while they were strolling along the Delphi Historic Trails in Indiana. Seven years later, their murderer was finally found and convicted of the crimes.

Exes Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack join forces with his new wife, Heather El Moussa, for Season 1 of The Flip Off. In the debut installment of the HGTV series, the three try to discover, purchase, renovate and flip a property for the largest financial gain.

Jon Stewart is sick of the hypocrisy coming from Republicans.

During an episode of "The Weekly Show" podcast, the comedian slammed the right for their support of outwardly partisan late-night host Greg Gutfeld and their condemnation of recently fired Stephen Colbert for alienating half of his audience with his left-wing politics. 

"This is them trying to police and create rules that they would never follow," Stewart explained. "You know, they all talk about, Gutfeld!'s the most popular [late night show]. Yeah. He's not popular because he's a both-sides guy. He's not a fair use [host], like, the Fair Use Doctrine says; like, he's relentless. And you know, after a day of watching Fox News and being bathed in their very purposeful propaganda, it's a great way to top off the night."

Despite being the top-rated primetime talk show on network television, Colbert's The Late Show was canceled by CBS. The talk series raked in a reported 2.42 million viewers between April and June. Jimmy Kimmel Live! averaged 1.77 million viewers, while Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, which airs on NBC, got 1.19 million viewers. By comparison, Gutfeld's Fox News program, which airs at 10 p.m. ET, averaged 3.29 million viewers in the second quarter.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr — who runs the government agency that Paramount needed approval from for their merger with Skydance — publicly stated that "the partisan left's ritualist wailing and gnashing of teeth over Colbert" was "quite revealing" and appeared as if they were "losing a loyal DNC spokesperson."

Former late-night host Jay Leno recently spoke out against Colbert and his Democratic-leaning views. "I love political humor, don't get me wrong," the 75-year-old noted during a recent interview. "But why shoot for just half an audience all the time?"

According to a report, since 2022, Colbert hosted 176 Democratic politicians and only welcomed one conservative.

Despite speculation, CBS and Paramount claimed their decision to end the 61-year-old's show was a "financial decision" rather than a political one. "Our admiration, affection and respect for the talents of Stephen Colbert and his incredible team made this agonizing decision even more difficult," the message from the network read. "Stephen has taken CBS late night by storm with cutting-edge comedy, a must-watch monologue and interviews with leaders in entertainment, politics, news and newsmakers across all areas. The show has been number one in late night for nine straight seasons, Stephen's comedy resonates daily across digital and social media and the broadcast is a staple of the nation's zeitgeist."

Donald Trump's alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein may be closer than he wants to admit.

In new photos unearthed by RadarOnline.com, the president can be seen hanging out with the late s** offender alongside his wife, Melania Trump, Epstein's co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew at Mar-a-Lago in February 2000.

The pictures come after Donald claimed he threw Jeffrey out of the spa at his Florida resort for trying to "steal" workers. "I said, listen, we don't want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa," the Republican leader told reporters.

In an even more shocking claim, Donald alleged the person the financer tried to take was Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey's alleged victims who tragically died in April.

"I think she worked at the spa," the former star of The Apprentice said. "I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her, and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever."

The round of photos — featured in the book Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales by investigative journalist Dylan Howard — also defies Donald's 2019 claim that he never met Prince Andrew, who Virginia accused of s***** assault after she alleged Jeffrey and Ghislaine trafficked her.

"I don't know Prince Andrew, but it's a tough story," Donald said at the time about the member of the royal family. "I don't know him, no."
