Rap feud fallout

Drake's been financially supporting alleged son's mom for more than a year: Report

One of the most shocking claims to emerge amid rappers Drake and Pusha T's public feud in recent days is that Drake has an illegitimate son with a former adult film actress and that he's tried to hide it from the world.

In Pusha T's track "The Story of Adidon," which debuted on New York City's Hot 97 radio station on May 29, he brings up Drake's alleged baby mama, French adult film actress-turned-painter Sophie Brussaux, and her son, Adonis, 7 months.

"You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeatmothaf—-, playin' border patrol," Pusha, 41, raps. "Adonis is your son/ And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that's real / Love that baby, respect that girl / Forget she's a porn star, let her be your world."

According to a new report from TMZ, though Drake has not confirmed he's the boy's father, the rapper has been "financially supporting his alleged baby mama through and after her pregnancy," the website writes.

Drake, 31, has been sending money to Sophie since before she gave birth to her son, reportedly on Oct. 24, 2017 — which is also Drake's birthday — to ensure that she lives comfortably, sources told TMZ.

TMZ further reports that, a source claims, "Drake plans to take a DNA test to figure out any possible future legalities, but he feels there's a slight chance the kid is his."

Speculation that Drake got Sophie pregnant emerged a year ago. In May 2017, TMZ reported that Sophie — who was photographed having dinner with Drake at a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam on Jan. 24, 2017 — was claiming she was three-and-a-half months pregnant and had texts purportedly from Drake urging her to have an abortion and accusing her of trying to get money.

TMZ had information that she'd hired famed New York attorney Raoul Felder to help her sort things out with the rapper.

In response to the story, Drake's rep told TMZ at the time, "This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She's one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child."

As Drake and Pusha T's beef continues to make headlines, TMZ reported that Pusha's revelations about Drake's alleged family have thrown a wrench into the Canadian music star's plans to reveal the information himself.

"Get this — sources working on Drake's new album tell us he planned to reveal everything about his new son on his upcoming album — a plan that will obviously need some tweaking," TMZ wrote.

Family heirloom

Amanda Kloots turns his ashes into family vase

Nick Cordero will always be in his family's life, both spiritually and now physically.

On Oct. 30, Nick's widow, Amanda Kloots, revealed that she made a family vase out of the Broadway star's ashes.

"My beautiful vase that Elvis and I made with some of Nicks ashes is done," Amanda wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the ceramic vase. "I cannot believe how it turned out."

Amanda thanked her friend Emily Tyra for created the vase, calling it "truly amazing."

"Elvis and I put our handprints into the clay before it was fired and then she glazed the vase and added the heart design," Amanda said. "I intend to always keep flowers in this vase, reminding me of Nick every time I look at it."

Nick, a Broadway star, died of COVID-19-related complications in July.

Amanda's friend Emily, the woman who made the vase, opened up about the emotional project.

"I knew Nick and Amanda from my Broadway days in NYC. Nick was a beloved, wildly talented and kind man. Amanda is a true force for good and one of the most resilient people I know," Emily said. "When @amandakloots reached out to see if I could use Nick's ashes in a memorial piece, I hesitated. It wasn't something I ever planned to do, but I felt so honored to contribute to Nick's memory and have Amanda and Elvis be a part of something creative and healing."

"They both came to the studio while I threw Nick's ashes into a piece with gloves on. Then Amanda and Elvis touched the piece creating an imprint from their hands," Emily continued. "A one of a kind heirloom, a reminder of how beautiful and precious life is and a piece of art that will outlive us all."

On Oct. 29, the couple allowed Meals on Wheels to announce their marriage. In the Instagram announcement, the organization asked that fans of the couple donate. That request has paid off.

According to TMZ, within 24 hours of the announcement, Meals on Wheels saw $10,000 in donations pour in via the Scarlett-Colin link on Instagram. Plus, the wedding post had nearly 10 times more "likes" than Meals on Wheels' previous top post.

In making the announcement, Meals on Wheels America photoshopped a picture of the Staten Island Ferry with cans dangling behind it. "Jost Married" was embedded in the image.

"We're thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC," the post said. "Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica."

The announcement brought a lot of attention to the organization, which helps seniors fight hunger.

"We are grateful that they chose to share their wedding spotlight with vulnerable older adults across the country, illuminating their critical needs and what Meals on Wheels is doing to ensure no senior is forgotten," a rep said.

Scarlett and Colin have been longtime supporters of Meals on Wheels.

According to TMZ, Jen filed for divorce on Oct. 30.

The former couple has maintained a tight relationship despite their split. In fact, there have been rumors over the years that they could be reconciling. However, Jen poured cold water on that rumor in 2018 when she referred to the "Spider-Man" star as the "greatest ex-husband."

The couple share two children: Ruby, 13, and Otis, 11.

"After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple," they said in a statement at the time. "As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship."

Ron Perlman begs judge to declare him single so he can remarry

Ron Perlman desperately wants to be single — at least temporarily.

The "Hellboy" star is in the midst of divorcing his wife of 38 years, Opal, but he's currently engaged to another woman. Ron and his new lady love, Allison Dunbar, are looking to get hitched sooner rather than later, but the actor's first marriage is preventing that.

According to TMZ, Ron is requesting a bifurcation of his divorce, which basically means he's asking the judge to legally grant him single status while the divorce plays itself out.

"I believe terminating the marriage as soon as legally possible would be in our best interests in that it would reduce the emotional strain and pressure I have personally observed in both [Opal Stone Perlman] and myself, and it would allow me to move forward with my life," he writes in his paperwork.

Ron and Opal split in November 2019.

On-set injury

Stephen Amell injured on set of Starz series

Stephen Amell is having a hard time staying on the set of his new Starz series, this time due to a stunt gone wrong.

TV Line reported on Oct. 30 that the actor injured his back on the set of the wrestling series "Heels," but the full extent of the injury isn't known.

"While performing a stunt on the set of 'Heels' this week, Stephen Amell sustained an injury to his back," Starz said in a statement. "Following a medical evaluation, he is now resting and recovering at home in anticipation of his return to set. Production continues as Stephen recuperates."

Producers for the show said all safety protocols were being followed at the time of the on-set stunt.

The accident comes not long after Stephen revealed he lost 15 pounds after testing positive for COVID-19, which kept him away from "Heels."

On the "Inside of You" podcast, Stephen said he thought his positive test "destroyed" the Starz series.

"I'm No. 1 on the call sheet and I work every day more or less," he  said. "I'm in my head going, 'S - - t, they're going to have to shut down the production. We're not yet done with the first block of two episodes. Did I just ruin this?' "

Stephen, 39, said he suffered from loss of appetite, chills, dizziness and a plugged ear. His focus, though, was often on work.

"My anxiety came from the idea that I would be letting hundreds of people down," he said. "Not everyone has the luxury of taking two weeks off. In fact, most people don't. We are in the midst of a global pandemic and times are tough for a lot of people."

Shannen Doherty on Stage 4 cancer battle: It's not 'a death sentence'

Shannen Doherty is giving fans an update on her battle with Stage 4 cancer, and the news is good.

"I'm good. I love it when people say, 'We're praying for you.' … but there comes a point where you go, 'I got this. Like I'm fine, I'm good.' There's a lot of people in the world that could use prayers and I'm feeling great," the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress told Sarah Michelle Gellar in an interview for Entertainment Tonight.

Shannen has been quite open about her health in recent years. In 2017, she announced she was in remission after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Then, in February 2020, she revealed she had Stage 4 cancer.

Still, Shannen is keeping her head up.

"I have an amazing medical team behind me," she said in the new chat. "I'm doing better than OK. I'm doing well. I feel strong and healthy and confident and happy."

Since her reveal, Shannen has made a point to educate her fans and the public on the real definition of "Stage 4."

"I want to really push for education and awareness and raise more money, and I want people to not hear Stage 4 cancer and think of the person as gray and falling over," she explained. "You get written off so quickly even though you're still vital and healthy and happy.

She added, "People instantly think it's a death sentence and it's not."

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost marry in New York

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have tied the knot.

ACE Pictures/Shutterstock

The duo said "I do" last weekend in a small ceremony in Palisades, New York, TMZ said.

Scarlett and Colin allowed Meals on Wheels America to make the announcement, as it photoshopped a picture of the Staten Island Ferry with cans dangling behind it, much like a traditional honeymoon scene in which cans hang from the back of a care.

Meals on Wheels asked fans of the couple to consider donating to the organization as a form of a wedding gift.

The Instagram post didn't indicate where the couple got hitched, but many suspect it was at a home in Palisades that Scarlett purchased in 2018.

The actress and "SNL" star got engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating.

MediaPunch/REX/Shutterstock

Last year, Colin reportedly joked about marriage after taking the stage during a celiac disease research benefit.

"I'm getting married and it's such a crazy thing. … I was so scared of marriage for so long because every time I talked to someone who just got married or was about to get married, it's like, 'Oh my God, you got to do it… What could go wrong?'" he said. "Then you talk to someone who's been married for five years, and they're like, 'Don't rush into it… you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't have kids. They're the worst.'"

This is Scarlett's third marriage, but Colin's first.

Duane Chapman honors late wife on her birthday

Duane Chapman is fondly remembering his late wife on what would have been her 53rd birthday.

On Oct. 29, Duane, more commonly known as Dog The Bounty Hunter, posted a photo of Beth Chapman to his Instagram.

"You are celebrating this day with Jesus and all his angels," he captioned the photo. "That's the only thing that gets us through without you."

While wishing Beth happy birthday, Duane added, "we miss you & love you."

Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock

Beth, who was Duane's sidekick on his "Dog The Bounty Hunter" reality TV show, passed away in June 2019 at the age of 51 following a battle with throat cancer. Following her death, Duane was under tremendous stress and refused to watch the reality show, which chronicled Beth's cancer battle.

Dog has since found love again, as he's engaged to Francie Frane, who lost her husband to cancer six months before Beth died. Shortly before their engagement this spring, Dog posted a photo of Francie, while also referencing his late wife.

"I scream & Cry Beth where are you why did you leave me then I look up & see you Francie & the pain turns to a smile I LOVE YOU WOMAN !!" he captioned the snap.

Dog has often posted images of Beth on social media, having done so this past Mother's Day and on their most recent wedding anniversary.

While some have criticized Dog and Francie— who went public with their romance on Instagram in April — for moving too fast, they say they know they're on the right path. "You know there's always going to be haters," he said, "and I probably arrested half of them."

Tiffany Haddish and Common hit with split rumors

Is there trouble in paradise for Tiffany Haddish and Common?

WireImage

The couple of less than three months is being hit with split rumors, and it seems to all be tied to social media. Eagle-eyed Instagram users noticed that Common has unfollowed the actress, which is often considered a modern day signal of a split.

Tiffany, however, still follows Common.

Over the summer, the comedian confirmed that she and Common were dating. "This is hands down the best relationship I've ever been in," she said on Steve-O's podcast Wild Ride. "Knock on wood! I've lost 20 pounds since I've been in this relationship."

She added, "I feel more confident in me and it's not him that's doing it. I'm just way happier and it's like knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways. And I love it. I love him."

Recently, Tiffany posted some cryptic messages on Instagram about exes contacting her.

"Boy. Stop reaching out to me trying to be my friend, I don't want to be your friend. Plus you got a whole women and Babies on the way and we been done for years," she said. "But you want a windfall of money, and want me to make that wind go? Huh hahaha if I thought that would remove you from my entire life I would. Just ct like I never said I love you. cause who I was loving wasn't the real you. When the real you showed up I was disappointed and disgusted, so please go away forever. PEACE AND HAPPINESS BE UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY."
