Ariana Grande and her mother, Joan, obtained a five-year restraining order against an obsessed fan, which will now keep him away from them and their property for half the decade.
The fan, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on the pop star's property in mid-March with a love note in hand.

TMZ said a judge signed off on the restraining order, which is intended to keep the man 100 yards from Ariana, her mom and her vehicles. The man is also prohibited from trying to contact the mother or daughter in any fashion, including text messages or social media.
The restraining order runs through May 5, 2025.
On March 14, TMZ said the fan snuck his way onto Ariana's property and strode up to her front door before knocking and asking if she was home. The property manager who answered the door told the intruder Ariana wasn't there.
Police believe the fan followed a delivery truck through the gates to gain access to the property. It's also believed that he rummaged through the garbage before knocking on the front door, TMZ said.
Security soon notified police of the man's presence, and he was arrested. During the process, police also allegedly found a love note to Ariana and directions to her home. The man was later booked for misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery for allegedly spitting on one of the cops during the arrest.
