To no one's surprise, Britney Spears is going designer for her "I do."
On Nov. 9, the pop star told her 36 million Instagram followers that Donatella Versace is making her wedding dress, a reveal that comes two months after Britney got engaged to Sam Asghari.
"No … this is not my wedding dress 👗 bahahah !!!!" Britney captioned a series of photos in which she's wearing a sheer pink princess dress. "Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak 🤫 Have a good night folks 🌙💖✨ !!!!"
Donatella has a long history of dressing Britney. The singer is seen here wearing the designer's threads at a 2002 Versace fashion show.
"I love that @britneyspears posted her favourite 2000s looks!!" Donatella wrote in May while posting a throwback photo. "This flashback is from when she came to my show in 2002, looking glamorous in Versace✨ I'll never forget when you came and stayed with me Britney, you were and will always be magical!!!!"
While Britney's dress is picked out, the wedding location seems to still be up in the air.
"I don't know where I'm going to get married," she told fans on TikTok last month. "We don't know if we're going to get married in Italy, or Greece, Australia, or New York City."
Britney famously dressed casually when she first exchanged vows at a Las Vegas chapel with childhood friend Jason Alexander. That marriage was annulled after 55 hours. For her 2004 marriage to Kevin Federline, Brit donned a dress by Monique Lhuillier.
"Britney was at the height of her career when her team reached out to me to design her wedding dress," the designer previously told Page Six. "She was incredibly down to earth, sweet and kind. She had a childlike excitement about the process."
