Donald Trump's administration recently announced that former Breitbart News Pentagon correspondent Kristina Wong will now serve as the chief spokesperson and director of communications for the Department of the U.S. Navy.Along with working at Breitbart News, Wong was previously at The Washington Times and The Hill.

Secretary of the Navy John C. Phelan took to X on Tuesday, April 22, to announce Kristina Wong's new position."I'd like to introduce Kristina Wong, my new Director of Communications and Chief Spokesperson for the Department of the Navy," he wrote. "Welcome aboard!"

In a video shared by John C. Phelan, Kristina Wong celebrated her career change."Hi, I'm Kristina Wong. I'm pleased to announce I've just been sworn in as director of communications and chief spokesperson for the secretary of the Navy," she said.
"My job is to keep you up to date on what the secretary's been doing, his top priorities, and happenings from across the Navy and Marine Corps," she added.
