One of Billie Joe Armstrong's prized possessions — a 1962 Chevrolet Nova — was stolen in Southern California, and he's asking the Internet for help.

The Green Day frontman posted several images of the white two-door car on Twitter over the weekend with the word "Stolen" written across the photos.
"My car was STOLEN 1962 Chevy II. This car is near and dear to all our hearts and has been in the GD family for over 30 years," the "American Idiot" singer tweeted on Feb. 5.
Billie Joe urged his 1.1 million Twitter followers to share his post and report any sightings of the vehicle to the Costa Mesa Police Department.
The Orange County Register said the custom car has cheetah-print interior, a black and yellow license plate, chrome rims and a black leather steering wheel.
It's believed that the car was stolen late on Feb. 4 or early on Feb. 5 from a commercial business.
TMZ reported that the car wasn't the only thing missing. The crooks also reportedly got away with an amp and two electric guitars.
