Four months after he was first put in solitary confinement, imprisoned "Tiger King" star Joe Exotic is finally out of isolation.

The Netflix star was distanced from other prisoners amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"Joe is OUT of isolation and getting the care he needs because of YOU!!" a June 23 message on the former zookeeper's Instagram read. "More than 2,000 of Joe's BIGGEST FANS hand-wrote letters asking for his release and it worked, proving that there is strength in numbers. THANK YOU!!!"
According to reports, Joe, who was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in a murder-for-hire plot targeting rival Carole Baskin, was being held at Grady County Jail in Chickasha, Oklahoma. In April, he was transferred to the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
On Tuesday, Joe said in a press release, "I am in a real hospital bed with a window."
The statement also featured a plea for Donald Trump to pardon Joe.

Joe became a sensation following the success of Netflix's docuseries about his life.
In a recent interview with Australia's The Sunday Project, Joe's 22-year-old husband, Dillon Passage, said Joe's life behind bars is "cruel."
"He's still locked up in solitary confinement. He can't have face-to-face visits. We only get to chat when he's talking to his lawyers," Dillon said last week. "[He's been in solitary confinement] four months, yeah. It's cruel and unusual punishment to the max for sure."
He added, "I've only been able to speak to him maybe six times since the show. It's pretty ridiculous."
