What feud? It seems that a month doesn't go by without a report claiming "Modern Family" stars Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara are at each other's throats.
But don't believe everything you read.
While speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Julie addressed those reports, saying that the truth is far less sexy than a report of a feud.
"Every night I get a call or email that says, 'So-and-so trash mag will be running a story that you are icy to Sofia Vergara because you are jealous of her fame,'" she said. "So I email her last night and then we talk and I'm like, 'What should I say?' because we're friends."
In her best Sofia impersonation (or Colombian accent) Julie said, "[Sofia] goes, 'Ay, please. Just borrow my blouse!' So I'm borrowing her blouse."
The actress told Ellen that everyone on the show "genuinely" gets along, despite the speculation otherwise.
"You don't have to have the truth anymore; you just have to have the Internet," she said. "You can just make up anything. I'm an alien. You're a two-headed cat from outer space."
Julie has long fought off rumors of discord between her and Mrs. Joe Manganiello.
"You can't have two females on a show without wondering if there's some sort of rivalry," she told OMG Yahoo in 2013. "Everybody wanted to think [at the beginning of the show], I imagine, that she must be a handful because of the way she looks, and she's not a handful except for a handful of delight."
"I mean, she is kind, she is funny, she's funny about herself, she is generous to a fault, and she's running an empire. Acting is the tip of the iceberg," Julie gushed. "I respect her so much, and I said when I was lucky enough to win an Emmy last year, I said 'I want to be you when I grow up, even though I'm older than you.' Because she owns herself and she owns the boobs and the clothes and the hair, and she owns it so completely and knows who she is. I have nothing but respect for that woman. She is awesome."
