According to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Dan Bongino and Donald Trump's Attorney General Pam Bondi have been at odds over the Jeffrey Epstein files. "There has been a lot of fighting between Attorney General Pam Bondi specifically and the leadership over at the FBI over who is to blame in this situation," the journalist claimed during a broadcast. "Dan Bongino has told people he is considering resigning as the deputy director of the FBI over the fallout that has continued ever since this memo was released. The anger inside the MAGA base has only continued to grow instead of going away as some officials inside hoped it would. … The context here is Dan Bongino, [FBI Director] Kash Patel, they came from this MAGA world where they themselves had pushed a lot of questions about the so-called client list that Epstein had beforehand. Now the MAGA base is just not pleased or satisfied with what they've said in this memo that came out."

The possible departure of Dan Bongino from Donald Trump's administration comes after the White House and the FBI claimed they "did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties" during the exploration into Jeffrey Epstein. People on both sides of the political aisle were outraged after Pam Bondi claimed months ago that she had the late convicted s** offender's client list "sitting" on her desk. "That's been a directive by President Trump," she noted during an interview with Fox News in February.

In an unusual move for Republicans, many criticized Donald Trump and his administration for their lack of findings in the Jeffrey Epstein case. "I don't think they're telling us the truth about Epstein," right-wing podcaster
Brandon Tatum said during an appearance at a conservative
conference hosted by Turning Point USA in Florida.
Megyn Kelly also slammed the investigation during the conference, saying, "[Pam Bondi] has never missed an opportunity to go on television and dangle sweet nothings that might be coming your way, try to lead you to believe that she's got it. Pam Bondi was either telling the truth then, or she's telling the truth now, but both cannot be true."

Donald Trump staunchly defended Pam Bondi from naysayers in a Truth Social post. "What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?' They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We're on one Team, MAGA and I don't like what's happening. We have a PERFECT administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," he wrote.
