The timing couldn't have been better. Kristin Cavallari gushed about her 1-month-old daughter on Dec. 14, saying that the little one came along at the right time to help momma deal with the tragic loss of her brother.

"My little angel, Saylor. She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength," Kristin wrote while posting an Instagram photo of her daughter's feet resting on a monogrammed blanket. "Thank you baby girl for coming when u did. and thank u @bocobaby for this adorable blanket xo."

In the image, Saylor, whom Kristin gave birth to on Nov. 23, is all bundled up in pink sweatpants and gray socks.

Her presence is helping her mom cope with Michael Cavallari's death. Kristin's older brother was found dead on Dec. 10 in a remote stretch of southeastern Utah, three days after his car was found crashed and abandoned. He had not been heard from in over two weeks.

Authorities said his body was located in a "steep and very rocky area" and that cold temperatures were most likely a "contributing factor" to Michael's death.

Following his death, Kristin took to Instagram to post a throwback photo of her and Michael as kids. "My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh," she wrote. "You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."
