Lady Gaga was missing her boyfriend, Michael Polansky, and their three pups as she rang in her 35th birthday in Rome on Sunday, March 28.
The singer's been in Italy shooting Ridley Scott's "House of Gucci" with Adam Driver, and while Michael couldn't be with Lady G. on her big day, he made sure to show her some birthday love — in a big way.
On Sunday, Gaga shared a photo of herself wrapping her arms around a massive bouquet of white roses that looked to be taller than she is.
"When your bf sends you all the flowers in Rome for your birthday," she captioned the adorable pic. "I love you honey 💕," she added. "I can't wait to be home with you and our dogs, that's all I need."
Gaga and Michael went public with their romance shortly after the 2020 Superbowl in Miami, which they attended together, along with a pre-party Gaga headlined. After photos surfaced showing her cozying up to the Harvard grad and sharing a kiss with him on a balcony, the singer posted a photo of herself in Michael's lap as the two enjoyed a boat ride.
"We had so much fun in Miami," she captioned the shot, adding a shout-out to all her "little monsters and fans."
Things have continued to get more serious since then. "[She's] super in love," an insider recently told ET, adding that Gaga "has been telling her friends that she wants to get through a few projects and then focus on settling down."
The singer's fur babies — French bulldogs Asia, Koji and Gustav — have been on her mind while she's overseas, as well. Last month, her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot while walking pups in Los Angeles. Asia managed to get escape and find her way to safety, but the assailant(s) reportedly stole the other two dogs, which is not uncommon given the high cost and widespread popularity of French bulldogs.
An investigation followed and the dogs were eventually found tied to a pole in an alley. Ryan is expected to make a full recovery.
While speaking to "Good Day New York" last week about Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, the singer's mother, Cynthia Germanotta, was asked how everyone involved in the incident is doing a month later. "… Under the circumstances, everybody's doing as well as they can and on the path toward healing," she said.
"House of Gucci" — a biopic that sees Gaga take on the role of Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who married (and was later accused of having a hitman murder) Maurizio Gucci — is due out Nov. 24.
