As Buckingham Palace reportedly tries to figure out Sarah Ferguson and
Prince Andrew's living arrangements, the source noted that King Charles III should keep the 66-year-old "in the fold" — especially as the two have maintained a great relationship over the years. "The honest truth is that she has nowhere to go and no one to go with [if Andrew loses Royal Lodge]. Her future is hanging in the balance," the insider explained.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities that Sarah Ferguson would pen a tell-all book about the royal family. The mother of two released a memoir in 1996, an autobiography in 2011 and was reportedly working on new literary ventures before her empathetic emails to Jeffrey Epstein surfaced. "She is contrite and embarrassed but also fears the scandal has fatally damaged her own business interests, including a number of new fictional books that are due to come out," the
source said.

If Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew are forced out of the Royal Lodge, the former couple, who divorced in 1996, will allegedly live apart. "It's incredible that they are willing to go their own
separate ways," a second source told
The Sun. "But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It's a fresh start for both."

Prince William and
Kate Middleton's current home, Adelaide Cottage, after the Prince and Princess of Wales relocate to their new house, Forest Lodge, if forced to move. For his part, Prince Andrew has expressed interest in Frogmore Cottage, where
Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle previously lived.
