Lili Reinhart comes out as bisexual

Lili Reinhart has publicly opened up about her sexuality.

On her Instagram Story on Wednesday, the "Riverdale" actress came out as bisexual.

While encouraging her social media followers to attend a LGBTQ and Black Lives Matter protest in West Hollywood, Lili wrote, "Although I've never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman."

Lili, 23, added, "I will be joining this protest today. Come join."

The announcement comes following Lili's split with her "Riverdale" co-star Cole Sprouse after three years of dating. While the split reports surfaced in May, sources said the duo actually broke up before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

The former duo had been fending off split rumors for months.

While making no mention of the breakup, Lili spoke about focusing on herself in April.

"It's been an incredibly hard month for all of us," she wrote on Instagram. "And although this quarantine is isolating and extremely challenging for those of us who struggle with mental health, I have learned a lot about myself during this time. I have learned to cherish the people in my life who have stood by me through my best and my worst."

She added, "At the end of the day, all we have is each other. And all we can offer one another during this time is love and kindness. Love as hard as you can because the people around you may need it more than you think."

Straight talk

'SATC' star reveals the real reason he never came out as straight

He played a gay man in two movies and on one of the most popular television shows for six years, but Willie Garson was merely acting. The truth is, he's straight in real life, but he avoided questions about his sexuality for years.

Willy Sanjuan/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"I didn't talk about it because I found it to be offensive to gay people," the beloved "Sex and the City" star told Page Six. "People playing gay characters jumping up and down screaming that they're not gay, like that would somehow be a bad thing if they were."

Willie actually became quite slick when he was asked in interviews about his sexuality.

"When the question would come up during the show I would say, 'When I was on "White Collar" no one ever asked me if I was a conman, and when I was on "NYPD Blue," nobody ever asked me if I was a murderer. This is what we do for a living, portray people,'" the 56-year-old actor explained.

Will, who played Carrie's friend Stanford Blatch, added, "I've never been straight closeted, is that a thing?"

Henry Lamb/BEI/Shutterstock

Still, due to the show's massive popularity and because he played his character so effortlessly, it affected his dating life.

"At the beginning, you would approach someone at a bar and realize, 'Oh, they want to be Stanford's best friend.' They don't necessarily want to sleep with you," he said.

Willie starred on the show from 1998 to 2004. He was also featured in both "Sex and the City" movies. These days he's single and has a 19-year-old son Nathen, whom he adopted from foster care 12 years ago.

"I very much always wanted to have a child," he said. "I had a long relationship, off and on, for like 20 years and she never wanted to have a child, which is fine. And it was like my mid-life crisis, I really wanted a child more than anything else and I got one. We're partners, my kid and I."

Boogie ban

Tyra Banks denies she's banned 'Housewives' from 'DWTS'

A report from a celebrity magazine briefly sparked a dance floor feud between Bethenny Frankel and Tyra Banks.

Earlier this week, a report from OK! Magazine claimed that Tyra has essentially banned "Real Housewives" from participating in "Dancing With The Stars," a report that Tyra denied on Oct. 22.

It all started on Oct. 19 after an unnamed source told OK! Magazine, "[Tyra] thinks the show needs to aim higher and only book the ladies after everyone else has passed… Tyra has never been a fan of the 'Housewives,' but the real reason she doesn't want them on her show is that Bethenny Frankel, NeNe Leakes and Teresa Giudice do not make headlines anymore."

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The report from OK!, which isn't the most credible magazine, touched a nerve with Bethenny, and she came hard at the supermodel.

"Good to know @tyrabanks has clumped me in her no more housewives mandate on @DancingABC. Also good to know-their casting director Deena, who I [love] has asked me to be on that show multiple x in the last decade. I'm also no longer a housewife, but nobody is bigger than the game Tyra," Bethenny tweeted on Oct. 22, according to a screen grab from Page Six

Bethenny has since deleted the message, which she also addressed.

"I deleted that last post Bc I really like & have a great relationship with Deena Katz from #DWTS," the former "Real Housewives of New York" star wrote. "If @tyrabanks wants to come on my podcast, she is welcome anytime as she has built a successful brand on her own in her own way. #justbwithbethenny."

To date, several past and present "Housewives" have competed on the ABC show, including Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and Erika Girardi.

Following the OK! report and Bethenny's fiery responses, Tyra, via her team, denied not wanting the first ladies of Bravo on the ABC show.

"This is 100 percent untrue," Tyra's publicist told Page Six. "She's a huge fan of the 'Housewives' and everyone knows Tyra is a businesswoman first. As a businesswoman, why would she say anything against the 'Housewives'? She has nothing to do with casting."

The rep added that Tyra "loves" Housewives' executive producer Andy Cohen.

"She's been on 'Watch What Happens Live' several times," the rep said. "She's a huge fan of the Clubhouse."

High school drama

Clare Crawley fights back against claims she lied about prom

Clare Crawley is having to dance around claims that she lied about not attending her high school prom.

Paula Lobo/ABC

On "The Bachelorette" this week, the reality TV star told contestant Chasen Nick about her teenage years.

"I didn't have the greatest high school experience either, to be honest," she said. "I never went to prom. Nobody ever asked me. Nobody even knew who I was in high school. I was just invisible, I think. I felt invisible."

However, one woman says Clare's statement is a boldfaced lie. She knows this, she claims, because her husband supposedly took Clare to prom.

"My husband took @clarecrawley to senior prom, @clarecrawley you went to prom #bachelorette #clarecrawley #senior ball #1999 #hothusband," an Instagram user posted alongside pictures of Clare and a man at a high school dance. "Note: she went to all girls school he went to an all boys school call it what you want, Senior Ball or Senior Prom, it took place in the spring."

After a separate user said Clare had just been "exposed," the "Bachelorette" responded.

"Lol actually not," she wrote in a screenshot captured by Comments by Celebs. "You do know there is more dances in high school that are NOT Prom? Turns out it's just someone digging up old photos. (why she keeps her husbands old dance pics I'm not sure) I went to a new school senior year and in fact DID NOT go to prom just like I said."

ABC/Craig Sjodin

The high school drama notwithstanding, it seems that Clare has found her happy ending, as multiple media outlets claim she fell hard for Dale Moss and even left the show after just a few weeks with her new beau. She was reportedly replaced by fan favorite Tayshia Adams.

Felicity Huffman nearing completion of probation sentence

On Oct. 21, TMZ reported that the "Desperate Housewives" star is close to finishing her supervised release, and she's requesting that her passport be returned, as it's currently being held by the probation department.

Last year, the actress pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges, admitting that she paid $15,000 to have a proctor correct her older daughter's answers on the SAT to help get the teen into a top university. Felicity was sentenced to a 2-week prison stint, required to perform 250 hours of community service and pay a $30,000 fine. She was also required to serve one year of probation.

With Felicity's probation period wrapping up in a few days, it all but puts an end to her involvement in the scandal.

Seeing that Felicity has fulfilled her legal obligations, TMZ said the probation department has no issue returning the passport, and it's only a matter of time until she gets it and is able to travel outside the United States (which is currently hard to do amid the coronavirus pandemic).

The completion of Felicity's sentence comes less than a month before Lori Loughlin, who was also involved in the scandal, is set to report to prison to begin a two-month sentence.

Kanye's sweet birthday tribute to Kim: Pic

Kanye West took it back seven years to honor his wife today on her 40th birthday.

On Oct. 21, the rapper posted a photo from his engagement to Kim Kardashian West from 2013.

"Been doing empty stadiums. Happy 40th birthday!!!," he tweeted alongside the picture. "I love you so much."

"I love you so much," she replied.

Back in 2013, Kanye rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco to pop the question in front of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's friends and family on her 33rd birthday, a proposal that was shown on the family's soon-to-be ending reality TV show. While the words  "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" appeared on the stadium's Jumbotron, the Chicago Symphony performed.

A the time, the couple had only recently welcomed their daughter North. They've since welcomed three other children to their fold.

Kanye's birthday tribute is one of many that Kim got on Wednesday — other's came from family members and friends like Victoria Beckham and Nicky Minaj. Even Sacha Baron Cohen gave a shoutout while in his full Borat character. The best gift Kim got, she said, was farther reaching.

"The best birthday present!! Today, the United States Library of Congress announced it will now use the subject heading…Armenian Genocide," she tweeted. "This landmark news was announced nearly one year after recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the U.S. Congress and in the setting of the recent devastating attacks on Armenians in Artsakh."

Miranda Lambert uses shirtless husband to promote new video

No shirt, no shoes, no problem!

On Oct. 21, Miranda Lambert decided that the best way to hype up the release of her new music video for "Settling Down" was to post a thirst trap of her husband, Brendan McLoughlin… not that there's anything wrong with that.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

"Shirtless husband promo volume 5 is coming for y'all tonight in the "Settling Down" video," Miranda captioned a behind-the-scenes photo from the music video of her and her husband in the kitchen.

Brendan reposted the picture to his Instagram, writing, "We're cooking up a listless something." His rock-hard abs and muscular body can easily be seen in the image.

This isn't the first time the country superstar has shared shirtless snaps of her man. Earlier this month she posted a series of photos of her sans-shirt husband moving bales of hay.

"Make hay while the sun shines y'all!," she wrote alongside the photos, adding the hashtags "shirtless farm husband" and "you're welcome."

While making music videos is old hat for Miranda, it's new to Brendan, who has a starring role in "Settling Down." Likewise, social media is also new to the former New York City police officer, as he only joined Instagram last week.

"CityGoesCountry," he captioned his first snap in Oct. 16, which shows him riding a horse.

On Oct. 19, he also shared a behind the scenes moment with Miranda from the set of "Settling Down"… and yes, thankfully his shirt is unbuttoned.

Why Matthew McConaughey stopped being 'the rom-com shirtless guy'

For well over a decade, Matthew McConaughey made a living basically playing the same character in the same type of movie. But then something changed in his personal life and he knew he needed to transition… if only it were that easy.

Stephen Lovekin/Variety/Shutterstock

"So I'm rolling in rom-coms, they're very successful. I'm the rom-com guy," the actor said on the Oct. 20 episode of Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" podcast. "They're fun. They're easy. I like doing them. They pay well. They're paying for the rent of my house on the beach that I'm running around surfing shirtless on. I'm going, 'Hell, yeah!'"

While in the midst of this, he met his wife. Camila Alves. He then knew he needed to take on different roles.

"All of a sudden my life is more full than it's ever been. My life is vital, man. I've had a newborn. I'm finally a father. I've met the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. You know, I laugh louder. I love harder. I have more rage. I have more joy. Life is just full. … But in my work, I'm feeling kind of like, 'Ehh!' I can get another rom-com — I could do that tomorrow morning," he said.

For more than a year and a half, Matthew declined romantic comedy role after romantic comedy role. Unfortunately, that was essentially all that was being offered to him

"Those movies I wanted to do, they were like, 'No, not with you McConaughey — you're the rom-com shirtless guy. We're not gonna let you do this movie,'" he recalled. "So I said if I can't do what I want to do, I'm going to quit doing what I've been doing."

When he committed to his word, Hollywood paid attention and started considering him for more dramatic roles.

"So another year goes by. Nothing comes in. Nothing comes in. I talk to my agent every couple of weeks. It's just like nothing. Nothing. A total of 20 months went by, and all of a sudden, 'Killer Joe' comes my way, 'Mud' comes my way, 'Magic Mike' comes my way, 'The Paperboy,' 'True Detective,' I can get 'Dallas Buyers Club' made," he said. "All of a sudden, these movies and this run that I went on come to me."

The importance of Matthew's temporary Hollywood hiatus isn't lost on him.

"I unbranded in that 20 months. You didn't see me. The industry didn't see me as a rom-com guy. You didn't see me in the tabloids shirtless on the beach," he said. "So all of a sudden, Matthew McConaughey for this dramatic role is now a new novel, good idea — and a good idea that I wouldn't have been 20 months prior. So I unbranded to rebrand basically."

The same day Matthew chatted with Barstool Sports, his new memoir, "Greenlights," debuted. He also produced a one-time special show on Spotify to coincide with the book release.

Alien encounter

Miley Cyrus say she was once 'chased down by some sort of UFO'

Miley Cyrus is revealing that she once had a close encounter with an unearthly object.

In a chat with Interview magazine, the "We Can't Stop" singer said she once saw a UFO in the sky and even made eye contact with the driver of the ship.

"I was driving through San Bernardino with my friend, and I got chased down by some sort of UFO. I'm pretty sure about what I saw," she said, later indicating that the "glowing yellow" UFO looked like a "flying snowplow."

"I did see it flying, and my friend saw it, too," she said. "There were a couple of other cars on the road and they also stopped to look, so I think what I saw was real."

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

The most disturbing part of the encounter, she said, was seeing the driver of the ship.

"I think that's what really shook me, looking into the eyes of something that I couldn't quite wrap my head around," she said. "I was shaken for, like, five days."

She added, "I couldn't really look at the sky the same. I thought they might come back."

Like Miley, Demi Lovato recently spoke about her extra-terrestrial encounters, claiming she was "communicating" with aliens in the California desert.

"Over the past couple months I have dug deep into the science of consciousness and experienced not only peace and serenity like I've never known but I also have witnessed the most incredibly profound sightings both in the sky as well as feet away from me," she said. "This planet is on a very negative path towards destruction but WE can change that together. If we were to get 1% of the population to meditate and make contact, we would force our governments to acknowledge the truth about extraterrestrial life among us and change our destructive habits destroying our planet."

She added several videos and pictures that she says shows other forms of life.

She added, "This is just some of the evidence from under the stars in the desert sky that can no longer be ignored and must be shared immediately."

Erika Girardi feuds with fan over Instagram meme credit

Just call Erika Girardi a meme girl.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star recently got into an online tussle with a fan on Instagram after posting an image that mimicked herself, Lisa Rinna and Robyn Dixon as Pink Ladies in "Grease."

"Frenchy, Rizzo, and Marty. Pink Ladies," she captioned the meme that showed the women in pink outfits. Below that image was a photo of the actual Pink Ladies from the 1978 film.

No one argued that the meme was clever, but one user claimed to have made the meme and was upset about Erika not giving them credit.

"Hey. That's my photo! Can you credit me Please?" @BrandsbyBravo asked in the comments section of the post.

Erika wasn't having it, responding, "Actually it's not your photo. It's Bravo and Paramount photo but ok. Cute meme though."

The Instagram account pleaded that the meme was their "idea."

"I'm a huge fan of yours and nearly passed out when I saw you posted my meme. I just wanted credit for it," the message said. "And in my post, I credited Bravo for the photo. Thanks!"

Erika snapped back, "The way to get more 'credit' for your 'ideas' is to come up with your own and stop leaving comments on my page about how you feel wronged. These images do not belong to you…" She even doubled down, tagging Kyle Richards in the post, since she took the snapshot of Erika in the pink jacket.

Brands by Bravo wouldn't relent, commenting elsewhere to no one in particular, "Please go to my page to see the photo. I guess I should have water marked but I posted it an hour before she did!" The Instagram handle later maintained, "My photo. And my idea of the [pink] ladies!!"

Tony DiMaio/SilverHub/REX/Shutterstock

Upon seeing the back-and-forth, many Instagram users told Erika she was in the wrong for not giving credit. Users said it was "not cool" or "frankly gross" that she didn't credit the meme creator. Another said "stealing memes is so 2012."

"Girl really???," wrote another. "You don't know how memes and instagram works all of the sudden?? When someone edits a photo and puts their time into it, and then you repost it without credit…it's messed up. And then you gave the audacity to be rude in return? Lmao ok girl keep digging yourself into a hole it seems to be working out great so far."

Erika hinted at the meme meltdowns on her Instagram Story on Oct. 20 several times. She even referenced the Presidential election amid the drama, writing, "Y'all better keep this same energy Nov. 3. Probably won't though."
