In a clip shared to the As Ever Instagram, Meghan Markle wore a dark green outfit as she hung beige stockings in a neutral-colored room. "Oh, we see you! Not even Thanksgiving yet and you've already got this in the bag," the caption of the video — shot with a sepia undertone filter — reads._
Social media users expressed their disdain for Meghan Markle's "pretentious" aesthetic. "A color scheme can be a beautiful thing. But a Christmas one based on the color brown is tricky as all get out! She and the artistic team missed the mark in a very big way with this pretentious attempt at chicness," one person wrote on X."The holidays are supposed to be colorful and bright lights full of cheer and excitement and laughter from the children," a second chimed in.
"It's a vomit green holiday collection," a third added.

Royalists also slammed Meghan Markle over her claim that she was forced to wear muted tones while working within The Firm. "She just can't be honest and admit that she likes beige. There is nothing wrong with that. The only problem is, she should just admit that she lied about having to wear the color while in the U.K.," one X user pointed out."Nothing screams festive holiday and celebration like BEIGE! One would think that after she felt compelled by the royal family to wear only beige, that it would be the one color she would avoid after her 'great escape,'" a second wrote.
"There she is! The woman finally free to wear bright colors!" a third said.
