According to a source, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are embarrassed by Sarah Ferguson's friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. "I would actually go so far as to say that they are even more disappointed in their mother than their father [Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor] now," the insider told
Daily Mail. "They also love their mother dearly, of course, they do. She's a wonderful grandmother, too, and they are deeply concerned about how this is all affecting her mentally as much as their father. But I think it's fair to say the scales have also somewhat fallen from their eyes."

After the U.S. Department of Justice released additional files related to Jeffrey Epstein, Sarah Ferguson's name came up multiple times. "You are a legend. I really don't have the words to describe my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness," she wrote in an email to the late financier on January 30, 2010, via
People. "I am at your service. Just marry me."

Sarah Ferguson even brought up Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in her correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein. "I have never been more touched by a friend's kindness than your compliment to me in front of my girls [Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie]. Thank you, Jeffrey, for being the brother I have always wished for," she wrote in an August 3, 2009, message.

In a message from 2010, Sarah Ferguson told Jeffrey Epstein about Princess Eugenie's love life when he asked about when the two would be coming to New York. "Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!" she wrote, referring to the then-19-year-old spending time with her now-husband, Jack Brooksbank.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor also sent photos of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to Jeffrey Epstein. In one snap, Beatrice is seen climbing a mountain. In the picture of Eugenie, she's riding a bike at a charity event.
