It's no secret that Lisa Rinna was frustrated when her then-teenage daughter began dating Scott Disick last year, but she's trying to stay diplomatic about it.

While appearing on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star was asked to reveal the "worst thing" she said about Scott "behind his back."
"You know, I've actually been quite nice about Scott Disick," she said after taking a pause to think about her answer. "And I would never say that out loud, anything. I might have thought things that weren't very good. Can I atone for my thoughts?"
She added, "I wasn't mean. Listen, I tried really hard. I was really patient, and I tried really hard. We'll leave it at that."
Lisa famously said during an episode of the Bravo show last month that she would have preferred her daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin to date someone like Harry Styles, not Scott.

Amelia was 19 when she began dating Scott, 38, in October 2020. The pair lasted nearly a year, but they ultimately split after the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's private message about ex Kourtney Kardashian was outed by another one of her exes, Younes Bendjima.
The drama over the message called his romance with Amelia, now 20, into question, as he seemed jealous over Kourtney's romance with Travis Barker. Amid the fallout from the DM, many of Amelia's Instagram followers bombarded her social media and urged her to end things with Scott. She did.
"The breakup was coming, but the Younes DM was the final straw," a source told TMZ at the time.
After the split, several outlets reported that Lisa commented on an Instagram post about the breakup with a smiley face emoji.
