Madonna is being accused of expressing herself with the body of a twenty-something. Literally.
A TikTok video has gone viral in which a 28-year-old woman named Amelia M. Goldie claims Madge Photoshopped her face onto Amelia's body back in 2015 to promote "Rebel Heart." To this day, the photo can still be found on Madonna's Instagram. It was posted on May 1, 2015. Madonna captioned it, "I look kewl."
Page Six tweeted out a side-by-side of the pictures, and the evidence is quite convincing.
Amelia, who was 22 when she first shared the photo in question, told Buzzfeed that she "thought it was a joke" when she saw the photo of Madonna in the Joy Division t-shirt. Then, she saw her body on the Material Girl's social media.
"I tried to reach out via Instagram to her team twice, to no response … I [would] definitely laugh and say I'm flattered, but of course that I wish I was credited!" Amelia said.
On TikTok, Amelia posted Madonna's picture next to hers, writing, "When Madonna posts a photo of herself to IG to promote her album but its actually your body. (I'm not joking.)"
Social media users, many who criticized the alleged Photoshop work, have begun to bombard Madonna's May 1, 2015, post with pleas to credit Amelia.

Still, Amelia finds humor in the picture controversy.
"I've been told it's a great 'party flex,' which makes me laugh," she told Buzzfeed. "I told it at a job interview and they loved it."
