The latest celeb to show off a new tattoo in 2016? Miley Cyrus.

And Miley's latest inking appears to be an ode to the love of her life, Liam Hemsworth.

Tattoo artist Dr. Woo revealed Miley's newest artpiece in an Instagram post on July 9: It's a small illustration of a container of Vegemite.

"@mileycyrus don't play when it comes to #vegemite 🍴 #halfneedle," Dr. Woo captioned the black-and-white pic that shows the singer-actress' new arm tattoo.

Vegemite is, of course, a famous Australian food item: a savory brown paste that's made from brewer's yeast extract and loaded with Vitamin B that many say is an acquired taste.

The product, which was invented in 1922, is often spread on toast and crackers. According to the brand's website, more than 22 million jars of it are sold every year.

And vegan Liam, 26, loves it. In June 2016, he told's Sunday Style section that as I kid, he consumed a lot of Vegemite on toast. "I lived on it," he said.

Miley, 23, and Liam are reportedly planning a late-summer wedding in Australia.

In April, Liam denied he was engaged, but following his and Miley's reconciliation in December 2015 -- which came more than two years after they split -- the controversial pop star started wearing the stunning vintage Neil Lane diamond engagement ring Liam first gave her in 2012.

Miley's also fond of sharing her love for Liam on social media. She posted a pic of herself in a "Hemsworth" T-shirt back in June.

In an interview with Men's Fitness published last month, Liam admitted Miley came with a little extra drama -- but he claimed he was cool with it.

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with, you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage," he told the mag. "I mean, look -- we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real."

"It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be," he added. "She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."
