Snap to it! Former Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr could be rocking a new piece of jewelry pretty soon, a new report claims.
After a year of dating, Snapchat founder and CEO Evan Spiegel is "ready to take the next step," a source told Us Weekly.
"They are both completely smitten and Evan's starting to look at rings," the source added.
And do not expect them to spare any expense when it comes to this shindig.
They will have an "extravagant wedding, in true Evan style," the friend said, adding, "Miranda certainly won't mind!"
The couple met in 2014, a year after she divorced from Orlando Bloom, whom she was married to from 2011 to 2013. They have a son together.
Earlier this year, Miranda, 33, and Evan, 26, moved into a Los Angeles-area mansion, which they reportedly purchased for $12 million. (Evan is estimated to be worth $2.1 billion.) Real estate records show that the 7,164-square-foot home is rather impressive, and includes a pool, gym, pool house and a guest house.
So far, the couple, who went public last summer, have proven the skeptics wrongs. Many said it wouldn't last, citing Evan's youth.
Last year, Miranda told The Edit that age wasn't even remotely a concern, because you would never know he's as young as he is. She has the "best of both worlds," she said, saying that he is mature for a younger man.
"He's 25, but acts like he's 50," explained Kerr. "He's not out partying. He goes to work in Venice. He comes home. We don't go out. We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early."
Of course, Miranda has another person who her relationship involves, 5-year-old son Flynn. But, Evan and Flynn are fast friends already. In fact, Miranda and Orlando have a deal with each other when it comes to significant others meeting their son.
"We had to know the person for six months and feel good about them," she said. "Evan met Flynn, so, yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now!"
