Pat Sajak is feeling the wrath of social media (again).
The longtime "Wheel of Fortune" host made a troupe of fans publicly groan during the Wednesday, April 13, episode after a bizarre comment to letter-turner Vanna White. Some felt the comment crossed the line and ventured into sexual harassment territory.

The fiasco began when contestant Ashley Fabian announced she is a professional opera singer. The occupation prompted Pat to ask Vanna a fairly innocent question. "Are you an opera buff at all?," he wondered.
Vanna replied, "Yes. I'm not a buff, but I like opera."
Things quickly took a turn.
"Have you ever watched opera in the buff?" Pat retorted. "I'm just curious."
Vanna quickly said she had not and laughed.

Although Vanna seemed to take the odd line of questioning in stride, others — particularly some on Twitter — did not.
"I feel like I just witnessed a #metoo moment on @WheelofFortune?" one user tweeted.
Another felt that the show has gotten off track, wondering, "When did this game show turn into Wheel of Fortune After Dark?"
A third wrote, "@patsajak it is NOT cool to ask if Vanna has watch opera in the buff. What century do you live in?!?!?!"
Pat's question was called "gross" and "inappropriate" by other keyboard critics.
The game show host often finds himself on the wrong end of Twitter. Just last month he was accused of "throwing shade" at a contestant who told a story that Pat was seemingly bored by.
