Sinead O'Connor's sad world continues. Just days after writing a suicide note and claiming her family abandoned her, the Irish singer is publicly pleading for her loved ones to visit her in the hospital.
"To my children and family. You came to the hospital to see me on life support. You left before I woke and you haven't been back," she wrote on Facebook on Dec. 1. "Please why are you doing these things to me?? I need you. I need your love. I can't manage what's being done to me."
Over the weekend, Sinead was found safe in Dublin after claiming she was intentionally overdosing on pills and writing about it on social media. She even said that her exes and kids -- sons Jake, 28, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8, and daughter, Roisin, 19 -- were "dead to me."
Things seemed to have changed now that she remains in a hospital bed.
"I didn't do anything to deserve the way I'm being treated. I did not leave my kids either! As Mary falsely says I did," she writes, but she gives no indication on who Mary is. "That is simply untrue. The kids asked not to be with me during the recovery from surgery."
She continued her plea, "Jake, Roisin, everyone. Please. Come and tell me why this is all happening. Come and tell Me I'm loved. Come and tell me I'm wanted and cherished. Why did you leave before I woke?"
Over the weekend, the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, who has been diagnosed as bipolar, was not nearly as sentimental about her family.
"The last two nights have finished me off. I have taken an overdose," she wrote. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. There is only so much a woman can be expected to bear. After everything I've been put through, and been forced to go through alone, they wouldn't know if I was dead until weeks from now."
This was not her first suicide attempt either. She has openly admitted that she tried to kill herself on her 33rd birthday. Now, though, she wants to live and she wants a support system from her family.
"Been missing you all for weeks. To hear that you were here and left was agony. Now I am utterly alone. Please. Please love me. Please come to the hospital and spend time with me and help Fix all this. Please. I'm begging you," she continued in her lengthy, heartbreaking Facebook post.
"Don't leave me so frightened and alone. Don't treat me like I'm not loved and am worth nothing. Please. If you love me even a little please come and be with me and help me understand what's happening," she wrote. "I didn't even have any clothes. I haven't a thing. Please. Jake, Roisin. All, please, come see me and make me feel like [I'm] loved. Help me [instead] of punishment. Please please I beg you come see me and help."
