Push it, push it good.
"Today" show contributor Justin Sylvester is explaining the truth behind a recent interaction with Jenna Bush Hager in which he appeared to push her away on live TV, something some fans think was warranted.

A video from "Today" shows Justin and Jenna standing next to each other while watching chef Andy Baraghani cook a meal. At one point, you can see the former First Daughter patting Justin on the back and putting her arm around him. He then lightly pushes her away, making her look at the camera and smile.
Viewers lined up on both sides of the spectrum, with some claiming Justin was out of line. More people, though, seemed to blame Jenna, claiming she was violating his personal space. Some "Today" fans even went so far as to insist she was sexually harassing Justin.
As the social media drew their lines in the sand, Justin responded to the fervor.
"People thought that she was invading my space, and that's actually not the truth," he said.
Justin then said he was attempting to flirt with the chef because "he was cute." He continued, "I was pushing her away so I could have a one-on-one moment with the chef, and people took it the wrong way… People just jumped to conclusions."
In an Instagram video obtained by The Shaderoom, Justin praised Jenna, claiming she's is "one of the nicest, most welcoming people I've ever met."
The Emmy-nominated host said Jenna has always been a "big champion" of his, and he hates that viewers are "taking it out of context."
While Justin seemed to nip this one in the bud, there might be more "Today" show drama brewing between Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie…
