Uma Thurman is recovering from intense injuries this week. The actress was thrown from a horse and suffered multiple broken bones from the fall, according to Page Six.

Speculation of an injury or surgery began when she was spotted walking into a restaurant in St. Barts, flanked by her children. A source told the outlet that onlookers said it "looked like she had hip surgery," since her kids had to help her walk so delicately into the eatery.

Uma's rep got involved after the reports surfaced, putting out a statement on June 21.

"Uma was in an equestrian accident. She was training on a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few bones," the statement read.

It's unclear if Uma was training on the young horse for fun or for a future project. The 46-year-old, best known for her iconic role in 1994's "Pulp Fiction," has two films in pre-production. While "The Bay of Silence" is a mystery, only reported to be in pre-production and starring Uma, Toby Stephens and Brian Cox, it's likely not for her other future project, "The Extraordinary Journey of Fakir." That future film is based on a novel, and its description reads: "The story of Ajatashatru Oghash Rathod, a fakir who tricks his local village in Rajasthan, India into believing his possesses special powers and into paying him to fly to Paris to buy a bed of nails from an Ikea store." There's no information on whether either of Uma's future projects will be pushed back due to the star's broken bones.

The actress also has a film currently in post-production entitled "The Brits are Coming," a comedy where she stars as a British con artist.

Uma is currently rumored to be dating her former boyfriend Andre Balazs. The two originally split in 2007, but seem to be on-again these days.

She struck a custody deal with her most recent ex-fiancé Arpad Busson in the fall of 2015 after their split, arranging the terms of sharing their 3-year-old daughter Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson, whose nickname is Luna.

Uma also has two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke, daughter Maya, 17, and son Levon, 14. Proud father Ethan recently told Us Weekly that their oldest child Maya would be attending Julliard in the fall.
