Vanilla Ice's marriage is over, over baby.
On Tuesday, the singer's wife filed for divorce in Florida after nearly 20 years together, according to TMZ.
Ice (real name Rob Van Winkle) and Laura Van Winkle have actually been separated for a few years now, the website said, but she's now officially ending the marriage.
They have an 18-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old daughter.
Whether the "Ice, Ice Baby" singer knew this was coming down the pipeline isn't known. Their marriage, though, hasn't always been a walk in the park. In January 2001, he was arrested and pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges against his wife. He was then sentenced to probation and family therapy.
In April 2008, he was arrested again for domestic violence.
There are other reports that he was arrested in 2004, but those claims aren't confirmed.
In 2011, there were reports that Ice had moved out of their Florida home because his wife had cheated on him. She denied the infidelity, but reportedly told the National Enquirer, "We've had problems for a very long time and Rob has moved out."
The couple reported met at a Fourth of July party in 1995 and began dating. They were married two years later.
Recently, Ice was in the news after he decided to stay behind in Florida as Hurricane Matthew barreled down on the state. Ice live-tweeted the experience.
