Billy Bob Thornton tried to explain his crazy Canadian radio interview to Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night.
"The fact that that was news was astounding to me, but it gave hump back geeks all over the world something to do for a couple days days... I do that all the time!" Thornton said. "It's not the first time...."
Continued Thornton: "This woman said something she wasn't supposed to say, and I said I received signals from Venus through a metal plate in my head...I told a DJ to kiss my ass, that's all that happened."
Earlier this month, the actor-turned-singer, 53 became belligerent during a radio interview when asked about his Hollywood career. The next day, he was booed while performing with his band, the Boxmasters, the opening act for Willie Nelson.
The band canceled their Canadian tour a few nights later "due to one band member and several of the crew having the flu."
