The actress was booked on Thursday for marijuana possession and reckless endangerment, after allegedly throwing a bong out of the window of her 36th-story apartment in Manhattan as police arrived following a report suggesting Bynes had been smoking pot in the lobby of her building.
The 27-year-old was marched into court early on Friday, wearing a blonde wig and sweatpants, and given a stern warning by Judge Neil Ross, who released her without bail and set a court appearance for July 9.
On Friday evening, Bynes was back at home and back on Twitter, where she has been posting odd messages and topless photos of herself in recent weeks, and tweeted, "I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs."
