Make no mistake about it, Kendall Jenner is firmly supporting her father Bruce Jenner in his oft-reported gender reassignment. But, one thing that isn't clear: Did she actually talk about it? She vehemently denies that she did.
On March 18, Us Weekly claimed to have an exclusive interview with the 19-year-old model wherein she spoke fairly candidly about her father. The magazine quotes Kendall as saying, "I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."

A few hours after the story published, Kendall denied that she said anything, tweeting, "How is it legal for someone to 'quote' someone and publish it if in fact you never said what was quoted?"
While some media outlets picked up the story and ran with it, there was also a lot of media speculation about whether an interview actually ever happened. There were things that seemed fishy from the start. First, Us claims that the interview happened backstage at the Justin Bieber Roast, which Kendall attended. Why did it take four days for them to publish Kendall's alleged comments that, truth be told, are huge if they are true. Also, the Kardashian-Jenner's are very good at picking their spots about when to trumpet a story in the media. That being said, why would Kendall give an impromptu interview?
Bruce's six kids and four step kids have all remained mostly mum as media outlets reported on Bruce's situation. Kim Kardashian West, Bruce's stepdaughter, may have said the most when she spoke to "Entertainment Tonight" last month, saying Bruce is the "happiest" she's ever seen him.
"I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right," she said. "I feel like that's his journey to talk about."

The alleged exclusive interview with Us comes as another report claims that Bruce's gender reassignment is causing a "divide" between the Jenner and Kardashian families." The usually credible PEOPLE Magazine quoted a source saying that Bruce's situation put his family "through a rough patch."
"The divorce caused a divide," the source said, "but Bruce's decision to share his transition has caused an even greater divide."
