Teen Vogue

Emma Roberts wants people to know she's got more going for her than just a famous aunt. The 18-year-old actress is the new face of Neutrogena, the star of an indie drama that premiered at Sundance called "Lymelife," and Teen Vogue's April cover girl.

"Some people look at me and think, She's just Julia Roberts' niece. So I wanted to do something smaller and edgier, something that would show I really am an actress," says Emma of her role in "Lymelife." She describes the film as "American Beauty" meets "The Ice Storm." Sounds heavy, but rest assured, the aspiring thesp seems like a normal teen otherwise.

"I remember being 12 and thinking, I can't wait until I'm 16, because then I'm going to have a car, a driver's license, a really cool boyfriend, and boobs," Roberts reminisces.

As for the boyfriend thing, she does have a type. "I'm looking to musicians now," Emma says. But she's not about to jump on the Jonas Brothers bandwagon. "[They're] a little tainted. I used to have a crush on Nick, but he's kind of making his rounds in Hollywood, and I don't know if I like that."

Way to play hard to get, girl. Emma's issue hits stands nationwide on March 10.
