On Monday night, Rumer Willis shimmied into an airtight, attention-getting dress while working the red carpet at the Miami International Film Festival. But even though her frock was wide open, her lips were sealed to questions about how Demi Moore is doing post-rehab.
When a reporter asked after her mom, Rumer ignored the inquiry and turned away, clearly unwilling to comment on the state of Moore's health following the Jan. 23 911 call that landed her in the hospital.
Ashton Kutcher has also kept his piehole closed about his estranged missus, but some chatty insiders reveal he's seen her since her release last week following month-long stint in treatment.
"He came to her house to see her for about an hour and a half," a spy tells E! News of the Feb. 25 visit.
The actor was apparently joined on the visit by three male companions.
A source adds to People that he met up with Moore because "he knew it was important to her daughters," referring to Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 18.
But the E! snitch disputes this, contending that the offspring of Bruce Willis are "no longer close" to the guy they once called M.O.D. (My Other Dad).
Either way, Ashton and Demi "are not getting back together," insists the People insider.
Soon after the visit, Moore, 49, reportedly jetted off for a few days of R&R in the Turks and Caicos. She surfaced in Los Angeles on Sunday, when paparazzi snapped her exiting a private jet, looking tanned in a pair of denim short-shorts (TMZ has the pics here).
While the actress was soaking up the sun, Ashton was having fun. Us Weekly says he and rumored girlfriend Lorene Scafaria joined some pals for a game of laser tag on Saturday.
The pair, who reportedly weren't shy about cozying up at a pre-Oscar party, sported complementary face paint for the party bus-inclusive outing.
As for Demi, she "feels great and she is eager to get back to work," a confidant tells Radar Online. "She has been focusing on her health in the last month and she's getting better every day. Demi wants to work again; she knows that she can handle a few projects, so she's looking forward to that."
