During her memorable Golden Globes speech in January, Jodie Foster shared the wisdom she's gleaned from being in the public eye since she was a toddler: "There are a few secrets to keeping your psyche intact over such a long career. The first, love people and stay beside them."
Now comes word that the Oscar winner may have someone new by her side. E! News reports Jodie is seeing photographer and sometime actress Alexandra Hedison, whose four-year romance with Ellen DeGeneres ended in 2004.
"It's pretty serious," relays a source. "They're totally in love."
Rumors of a romance began over the summer, when Foster and Hedison were both seen at a Los Angeles technology conference and were photographed out to dinner with friends in Beverly Hills.
Foster, 50, split from Cydney Bernard in 2008 after a 20-year relationship. They are parents to sons Charlie and Kit.
"There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy, consigliere, most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard," Jodie gushed during her Globes speech. "Thank you, Cyd. I am so proud of our modern family."
