Looks like Redfoo and SkyBlu -- aka LMFAO -- will be doing their party rocking separately from now on.
Redfoo announced to News.Com.Au on Friday that he and his bandmate are calling it quits -- at least for now.
"I feel like we've been doing this for so long, five or six years," the pop star, 37, explained. "And we're kind of like saying, Well, let's just do what's natural and just kind of explore that, instead of forcing it all the time."
Redfoo (real name: Stefan Gordy) added that he and SkyBlu, 26, (born Skyler Gordy -- Redfoo is his uncle!) feel like they're headed in "different directions" musically, and that he has no idea if they'll ever team up again.
With hits like "I'm Sexy and I Know It" and "Party Rock Anthem" under their belts, the L.A.-bred duo -- who are related to music exec Berry Gordy (he's Redfoo's father and SkyBlu's grandfather) -- first started performing together in 2007. Prior to getting involved with music, Redfoo worked in finance.
