The Hollywood Reporter -- MOSCOW - MIPAcademy Moscow DO, a forum for TV and digital media professionals, is to be held at the Russian capital's Digital October new media center on May 12-13.
The event, organized by Reed MIDEM and Digital October, with support from Expocontent, the official representative of MIPTV and MIPCOM in Russia and CIS, is to target media managers, producers and professionals working in the areas of content, advertising, digital and new media, with the main focus on "transmedia storytelling."

"The partnership between Digital October and the organizers of top international entertainment events, MIPTV and MIPCOM, is set to make MIPAcademy Moscow DO a global-level event, allowing the Russian TV industry and creators of digital content to obtain unique experience and meet leading international experts," Digital October's general director Dmitry Repin said in a statement.
Ted Baracos, director of market development at Reed MIDEM added that the Russian TV and digital content industry has a huge potential for international distribution, and the company's goal is to create a unique Russian forum that will facilitate exchange of ideas and expertise necessary to realize that potential.
Among international experts expected to show up in Moscow for talks and master classes at MIPAcademy Moscow DO are The Shine Group's managing director Ben Hall, The Box founder and CEO Eli Uzan and Entertainment Master Class' managing director Christoph Fey.
