It's a sad day at the Playboy Mansion. Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead in a friend's L.A. home on Jan. 15, TMZ reports. She was 34.
Law enforcement sources told the site that police are investigating Hensley's death as a possible overdose. Her friend reportedly called the paramedics after finding her floating in a bathtub, but she could not be revived. Foul play is not suspected.
Born and raised in Utah's Salt Lake Valley, Hensley appeared in Playboy as Miss February 2006. According to her bio on the magazine's website, she started modeling while studying to become an aesthetician.
After placing in the Top 20 in a Hawaiian Tropic contest, she tried out for Playboy. "I'm happy to be a Playmate," she said in her bio. "It's a dream come true."
As for her life after Playboy? "I have been a part of many great experiences," Hensley told Metropolis Nights magazine in December. "Travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model."
