"Zoey 101" star Chris Massey was arrested for domestic violence over weekend, stemming from an incident at a Las Vegas nightclub.
He has maintained that he did nothing wrong.
According to TMZ, the Nickelodeon actor was in Sin City over the weekend and got into an argument with this girlfriend Cassalei Jackson at Marquee, a day club and nightclub inside the Cosmopolitan. Police said he pushed her to the ground.
Chris, 26, was detained by club security until Las Vegas Metro officers arrived. He was arrested on site and later taken to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence.
He was later released on bail.
The actor is denying any wrongdoing.
TMZ said Chris is acknowledging to friends that he and his girlfriend got into an argument. But, he claims she accidentally fell when they were leaving the club and security quickly jumped to the conclusion he pushed her because of the heated argument that they were overheard having.
It's believed Cassalei, who is the daughter of actress Shar Jackson, who has two children with Britney's Spears' ex Kevin Federline, is not pressing charges.
Chris has not addressed the issue on Twitter, although he isn't super active on the social media platform.
Last week, he posted a selfie with Cassalei to Instagram, saying, "I love you.. No matter what I always got your back." On Monday, just 24 hours after the incident, she, too, took to Instagram, posting the same selfie with Chris. She didn't caption the image.
On Sunday, she cryptically tweeted "f------ Vegas." A day prior she asked her more than 1,300 followers, "Have you ever been wide awake blacked out?"
Chris has dealt with authorities before. Last year he was beaten up when rapper Lil Twist and others allegedly broke into the home of his brother, actor Kyle Massey, and attacked Chris. Twist was charged with six felonies in the assault.
