Kristen Stewart and girlfriend Stephanie "Soko" Sokolinski have pulled the plug on their relationship after just a few months of dating.
Us Weekly is reporting that the couple hasn't totally ruled out a reconciliation in the future, citing a source who claims that "they may get back together in the future."
The couple never formally admitted that they were dating, but photos of them looking intimate spoke for themselves. The duo was first spotted looking romantic on a March trip to Paris. Since then, they've been seen holding hands both in New York and in Los Angeles.
On Easter Sunday, paparazzi snapped Soko sucking on Kristen's thumb while picking up takeout at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Both Kristen and Soko have been fiercely private about their status, never acknowledging the other by name in the press.
"I'm very, very, very in love and very happy in a relationship," Soko, a French singer-songwriter, told W magazine in late March.
Kristen has been less forthcoming. Although she famously dated her "Twilight" costar Robert Pattinson for five years and was recently linked to actor Nicholas Hoult, she opened up her sexuality last August.
"Google me, I'm not hiding," the Chanel spokeswoman told Nylon. "I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don't think it's necessary to figure out if you're gay or straight. It's like, just do your thing."
Speculation that Kristen and Soko had split has been circling around the entertainment world all week after the "Snow White and the Huntsman" star was spotted hanging out with model Stella Maxwell on May 2.
Both Kristen and Stella, who once dated Miley Cyrus, hung out at a Met Gala afterparty at NYC's Boom Boom Room. Still, there is nothing romantic going on between the two ladies, according to a source.
"They absolutely did not hook up," a source tells Us. "Stella has mutual friends with Kristen, and they just hung out a little at the party."
