Royal commentator
Kinsey Schofield, who hosts the "Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered" podcast, sat down with British investigative journalist and royals biographer
Tom Bower to talk about
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future amid reports the pair have different goals. "In America, a lot of the tabloids are talking about how Harry and Meghan are experiencing a difference in their interests and professional paths. Meghan is focused on Hollywood and Harry is dedicating his energy to the Invictus Games. Some say it is creating friction behind the scenes," Schofield explained, as reported by Britain's
Daily Express.

Podcaster Kinsey Schofield asked author Tom Bower — who wrote the 2022 unauthorized biography
Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors — what he thinks about the state of
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nearly eight-year marriage. "Do you think their differences in pursuits could cause friction at home, or is Harry hopelessly in love?" she asked. Bower thinks there's tension brewing. "All marriages have friction," he said.

Author Tom Bower said he believes
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain committed, though he suggested the Duke of Sussex might be struggling with the direction of his path forward. "I don't think he has any idea of how to escape from their problems other than returning to Britain and assuming royal duties so that he has status and a purpose," the royal biographer explained.

According to royal biographer Tom Bower, Meghan Markle "liked that idea" — of
Prince Harry in some way returning to the royal fold they left six years ago — "because it gives her status and exposure." Bower said he thinks the former
Suits star — who in 2025 rebranded herself as a domestic and entertaining expert with the launch of the Netflix series
With Love, Meghan and her As Ever food and lifestyle brand — believes "she can then sell more clothes and handbags or whatever on the back of appearing in Britain with [
King Charles III], or whoever she can stand next to."

But royal biographer Tom Bower doesn't see that working out for Meghan Markle. "I don't think that's going to happen," he told podcaster and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield. "I don't think they've got a chance for [Prince] Harry to pull this off. But he's got no alternative so the crisis gets bigger."
