Kristen Stewart has a new gig, one that will see her in front of the camera much more.
The actress is the new face of Chanel, it was announced on Feb. 2 by the much-lauded fashion house.
She has fronted Chanel campaigns before, having promoted the brand in clothing campaigns in both 2013 and 2015.
Kristen, like the fashion house, announced the news, posting a photo of the campaign to her rarely-used Instagram page.
"The new face of #chanel makeup," she captioned the black and white photo.
Chanel said in a statement that it is simply wowed by the actress.
"With her modern, magnetic beauty, and free spirit, Stewart appears in a series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman," the statement read.
Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld has been a fan of Kristen's for years, often working together. Aside from being in front of the promotional cameras, Kristen has been in the front row of Chanel shows, and she's also walked the runway.
Perhaps his most solid endorsement of her came as she starred as Coco Chanel in a short film helmed by Karl.
