It's a fact! Former "MythBusters" star Grant Imahara is off the market.

The one-time TV star proposed to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Newman on Wednesday, Dec. 7 in front of about 250 friends and family, most of whom thought they were there for Jennifer's surprise birthday party.

Grant had forever in mind though.

"I met this girl who is incredible, beautiful, talented, a mythical creature," he said during his proposal, which was captured on video at Clifton's Cafeteria in Los Angeles. "We have been together for a number of years. We've been through hard times and great times. Our lives, I can't promise will be easy, but they will be exciting. Jennifer Newman will you be my wife?"

Upon producing a vintage 1.56 carat ring, Jennifer jokingly asked, "Are you sure?" before saying yes.

The ring, TMZ said, cost Grant $20,000 and was found at an antique dealer in San Francisco.

While on "Mythbusters," Grant was lovingly referred to as "the geek." He has also appeared on "BattleBots," "Star Trek Renegades," and "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!."

After his proposal, Grant took to Twitter to proclaim, "WE HAVE A YES. Just got engaged to @Jennernugen!!!"

He added a photo of the two of them later, writing, "Proposed to @Jennernugen last night and she said yes!."
