All the feels! America's favorite on-screen couple during the '90s reunited on the set of "Good Morning America" and it was priceless.
The actor was inside the studio with Robin Roberts getting ready to speak about his new film "Sully." Meg was only a few feet away outside the studio to promote her film "Ithaca," which she directs and stars in.
Robin said to Tom, "You know who we have coming up here?" and he did.
"I'm telling you, you came this close to having America's sweethearts reunited on the set of Good Morning America. Who books this show? There's Meg now," Tom said as a camera was pointed at his multi-time co-star.
He joked to Meg, "I love you, sweetie! Sweetie, I love you. I'll find you. I'll wait for you. I'll meet you in the park. Let's have hot dogs at that thing by the place with the deal, and we'll get to know each other again."
And then, it actually happened. The two screen legends hugged it out after his segment was over.
"A @tomhanks and @RealMegRyan reunion!!!!," GMA said along side a short video of the twosome.
GMA also shared a still photo that makes us feel all misty-eyed and nostalgic.
"Sleepless at @GMA," it captioned the photo of them.
The two starred in "Joe Verses the Volcano" in 1990, "Sleepless in Seattle" in 1993 and "You've Got Mail" in 1998. He also makes a small cameo in her new film "Ithaca" alongside the actress.
In July, Meg opened up to Entertainment Weekly and said Tom was "just so dear" during his short time on the film.
"He so did not have to do that," she told the magazine, adding that his scenes only took a day to shoot. "At the end of his time, he says to the crew, 'All right, gather 'round. Listen, I know we've gotten to know each other very well over the last 10 hours together, but I just want to thank you for being here for my friend Meg.'"
She added, "It was such an act of friendship. I love him so much."
So do we, Meg, so do we.
