Former "The Young and the Restless" actor Corey Sligh was arrested last month in Georgia for child molestation, according to a new report.
TMZ reported on Monday that the former soap star was booked after a young child's parents reported the alleged molestation on Sept. 24. He was arrested on Oct. 14 and was released on bond that same day.
The reputable website says the alleged victim is a girl who was under the age of 10 at the time of the acts.
Arrest documents filed by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said the alleged molestation occurred between April and September of this year, but it isn't clear how many acts of molestation that Corey is being accused of.
On "Young and the Restless," Corey played a bartender and a waiter.
Corey's name is familiar to soap opera fans, but he also made mainstream news on Thanksgiving 2014 after he was intentionally run over by a car in a Los Angeles Rite Aid parking lot.
After being hit, he was then beaten up by two men, causing him to be hospitalized.
According to reports, he and his girlfriend were delivering a Thanksgiving meal to a friend who had to work when he was run over. At the time, Corey apparently saw two men driving recklessly and told them to knock it off before someone got hurt.
His girlfriend Alisa Berhorst told E! at the time, "The guy walked up to him like, 'I'm in the mood to kill somebody and this is who it's going to be because he told me to be careful and slow down and go away.'"
Sligh later shared a photo on Instagram from the hospital, writing, "Hey kids, went to feed some people last night who don't have blessed thanksgivings and along the way got struck by a drunk driver! Have a surgery to go and another couple days in the hospital but should be fine soon! Thankful to still be on this great planet! Love y'all!"
He suffered multiple injuries, including a broken arm.
The two men were later arrested for the crime.
