Meghan McCain expressed her distain for Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos' over-the-top celebrations on an episode of her "Citizen McCain" podcast. "That carpet that looks like I picked it up from Home Depot on the way home," the conservative talking head said of the wedding decor. She then joked that the Amazon founder said, "I'm going to have the most ridiculous, gaudy, over-the-top, celebrity-filled wedding in a city that I have no relationship to, and we're going to [mess] up this city for a period of time and then show the entire world how much money we have and how much money you don't."_
Charlize Theron did not mince words when blasting Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding. "I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. O'Donnell specifically called out Oprah Winfrey for attending. "Is Oprah friends with Jeff Bezos?" she asked. "Really? How is that possible? He treats his employees with disdain. By any metric he is not a nice man."_
On the Monday, June 30, episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos revealed they'd returned from Italy, though they made it clear they did not attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding. "Just flew in from Italy. No, not that Italy, the other one," Ripa joked. "There is a certain amount of reverence shown to Americans in Italy coming home from Italy. You were in Italy? While Mia Farrow didn't say anything disparaging about Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, she did heap praise on the billionaire's former spouse, MacKenzie Scott. "How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations," the actress captioned a photo of the philanthropist on Instagram._
Olivia Munn took to the comments section of Mia Farrow's Instagram post praising Jeff Bezos' first wife, MacKenzie Scott, to share her thoughts. "Truly incredible," she wrote. The actress previously slammed Lauren Sanchez's April trip to space._
Before subtly shading the festivities, Bethenny Frankel prefaced in a video shared to TikTok on Monday, July 1, "Ok, I've been diplomatic about the wedding, and I happen to love Lauren Sanchez and I also adore Amazon, so I am treading lightly. But you know me, and I have a difficult time holding back when I have an opinion." She went on to slam Jeff Bezos and Sanchez's much-maligned wedding invitation: "So when I saw the invitation, that's when I got lost. The invitation, you lost me, and as a result … I'm going to start dating so I can eventually get married and have a wedding and make up for that invitation because that invitation — I could not stay silent, I'm sorry," the former reality star said.
