Chalk up another win for Kelly Clarkson in her messy divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
Since calling it quits in 2020, the former couple has fought over money, property and everything in between. The split was all the more layered due to the fact that Brandon was her manager for years. Now, however, his handling of her affairs is coming back to bite him, as a labor commissioner ruled in November 2023 that Brandon overcharged his then-wife during his tenure working for her and he's been ordered to repay her millions.

Citing legal documents, TMZ reported on Nov. 30 that a California labor commissioner ruled that Brandon Blackstock crossed the line as Kelly Clarkson's manager when he booked gigs and inked deals for the star for her work on "The Voice," with Norwegian Cruise Line and Wayfair and as the host of the Billboard Music Awards.
Those gigs are supposed to be lawfully secured via agents, not managers.
Brandon, the report stated, collected fees for booking the gigs. The commissioner has ordered him to fork over a seven-figure check to Kelly to repay what he charged her.

After their divorce was finalized, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock continued to fight over her Montana ranch.
In the fall of 2021, Kelly was awarded the ranch during divorce proceedings. Brandon had argued that it was marital property and he continued to live there. In fact, for a while, he refused to leave.
As part of a settlement, the "American Idol" veteran agreed to pay her ex a 5.12% share of the Montana ranch, which she bought with her own money during their marriage.
Still, a judge made it perfectly clear that the ranch was Kelly's and Kelly's alone.
In June 2022, Brandon finally left the Big Sky ranch.
The whole property is valued at around $18 million, according to estimates.

After their 2020 split, Brandon Blackstock filed legal documents asking Kelly Clarkson to pay him $436,000 in monthly support payments — that's $301K in spousal support and $135K in child support.
He didn't quite get that, but he did still score a lot of money. TMZ reported that Kelly had to pay Brandon $1.3 million plus $45,000 a month in child support for their two kids, River Rose, 9, and Remington Alexander, 7. He's is also getting $115,000 a month in spousal support, but that ends in January 2024.
