NEW YORK (AP) -- "The Story of My Life" has quickly reached the end of the road.

Producer Chase Mishkin says the two-character Broadway musical will close Sunday after five performances and 18 previews.

The show, which stars Will Chase and Malcolm Gets, opened Thursday at the Booth Theatre to mostly negative reviews.

"The Story of My Life" concerns the lifelong friendship between two men, one a successful, best-selling author, the other the owner of a small-town book store.

The show features a book by Brian Hill and a score by Neil Bartram and was directed by Richard Maltby Jr.
